Collect 75 unique pets.
Lil' Game Hunter requires you to collect 75 unique pets, rewarding you with the 
Little Fawn's Salt Lick delivered to your in-game mailbox upon completion.
Buy vendor pets (both factions)
Purchase pets from vendors available to both factions, including the Ghostly Skull in Dalaran, several pets in Netherstorm (Blue Dragonhawk Hatchling, Brown Rabbit Crate, Cat Carrier (Siamese), Mana Wyrmling, Red Moth Egg, Cockroach, Crimson Snake), two Parrot Cages (Cockatiel and Senegal) in Stranglethorn Vale, and the Ancona Chicken in Thousand Needles.
Buy Alliance-only vendor pets
Alliance players can purchase additional pets including the Rabbit Crate (Snowshoe) in Dun Morogh and Cat Carriers (Bombay and Cornish Rex) in Elwynn Forest, giving Alliance characters a slight advantage in reaching 75 pets.
Collect world event pets
Participate in seasonal events to collect their exclusive pets: Wolpertinger's Tankard (Brewfest), six pets from Children's Week (Egbert's Egg, Elekk Training Collar, Piglet's Collar, Rat Cage, Sleepy Willy, Turtle Box), three pets from Darkmoon Faire (A Jubling's Tiny Home, Tree Frog Box, Wood Frog Box), Sinister Squashling (Hallow's End), Truesilver Shafted Arrow (Love is in the Air), two pets from Midsummer Fire Festival (Scorched Stone, Captured Flame), and four pets from Winter Veil (Green Helper Box, Jingling Bell, Red Helper Box, Snowman Kit). Event participation is mandatory — the achievement cannot be completed without these 15 pets.
Track all available pets
Use warcraftpets.com to track every pet you own and identify remaining pets to collect, including dropped pets, promotional pets, engineering-crafted pets, and TCG loot pets.
Tips
Without event pets, you can access at most 67–68 pets from vendors, drops, quests, and engineering, making world event participation required to reach 75.
Characters created after patch 3.0.8 cannot obtain certain retired pets such as the White Bear and Spirit of Competition, which reduces the total pool of accessible pets.
TCG card pets contribute only 5 pets to the total, so they alone will not close the gap to 75.
