Spore Loser (25 player)
Defeat Loatheb in Naxxramas without killing any spores in 25-player mode.
Spore Loser (25 player) requires you to defeat Loatheb in Naxxramas without killing any spores throughout the entire encounter.
Remove Legendary Items
Before entering the fight, unequip
Xing-Ho, Breath of Yu'lon, as its proc will kill spores and void the achievement. Also swap off Shadowmourne, as its proc will kill any spores that wander into melee range.
Remove All AoE Abilities
Every player must remove all AoE abilities from their action bars before the pull — a single accidental AoE, such as a Retribution Paladin hitting their cleave ability, will kill a spore and cause the achievement to fail.
Understand Spore Behavior
Spores have approximately 3, 150 HP, spawn roughly 40 yards from Loatheb in any direction, are tauntable but immune to CC, and despawn after 1 minute and 30 seconds without counting as a kill — so allow them to despawn naturally rather than engaging them.
Defeat Loatheb Quickly
Loatheb has 20,220,250 HP and a soft enrage at 5 minutes where his Inevitable Doom ability accelerates, so focus all damage on Loatheb while every player remains disciplined about not hitting spores for the duration of the fight.
Tips
Spores despawning naturally do not count as dying as of patch 3.0.8, so there is no penalty for letting them expire on their own.
