The '250 Stone Keeper's Shards' achievement requires you to loot a cumulative total of 250 Stone Keeper's Shards from level 80 instances while your faction controls Wintergrasp.
Control Wintergrasp First
Stone Keeper's Shards only drop from instance bosses when your faction controls Wintergrasp, so confirm your faction holds the zone before running dungeons.
Run Level 80 Instances
Defeat bosses in level 80 instances to earn Stone Keeper's Shards — normal bosses drop 3 shards, heroic bosses drop 4, and lower-level dungeon bosses drop fewer.
Track Cumulative Looting
The achievement tracks every shard you loot in total, so spending shards after looting them does not reset your progress — looting your 250th shard completes the achievement regardless of how many you currently hold.
Tips
Only shards looted from instances count toward the achievement counter, so shards obtained through other means will not increment your progress.
