Back from the Beyond
Leave the Shadowlands better than they were when you entered by completing the following achievements.
Back from the Beyond is a mega-meta achievement that combines all major Shadowlands activities into a single overarching goal, rewarding Zovaal's Soul Eater mount and a Portal to Damnation decor item upon completion.
Assign Alts by Covenant
Use four separate characters, one per covenant, to avoid switching and to efficiently earn all covenant-specific reputation and achievements. Assign one character to the Maw and its reputation grind, and a separate character to focus on Zereth Mortis.
Build Required Covenant Structures
Each covenant character needs specific buildings completed: Venthyr requires Ember Court at level 4, Night Fae requires Mushroom Network at level 1 minimum (level 3 recommended for faster reputation), Necrolord requires Abominable Stitching at level 5 and Anima Conductor at level 1, and Kyrian requires Path of Ascension at level 2.
Start Questing Achievements Early
Begin the questing achievement Things To Do When You're Dead inside the Shadowlands Dilettante category immediately, as several questing achievements have weekly lockouts that will add at least 5 or more weeks to your total completion time regardless of when you start.
Complete Raid Achievements First
Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination, and Sepulcher of the First Ones are among the easier and less time-consuming requirements. Enter each raid and defeat the required bosses solo at max level; LFR difficulty is sufficient to satisfy the raid participation element of the achievement.
Check for the Rampage Bug
The achievement Rampage, hidden inside Tower Ranger under Master of Torment, was bugged and prevented the final validation of Back from the Beyond. Verify that Rampage is completable on your current patch before investing significant time in other requirements.
Tips
Mythic 0 dungeons and LFR raids satisfy all dungeon and raid participation requirements, so there is no need to run higher difficulties for this achievement.
Characters only need to be level 70 or above to work on covenant-specific content for this achievement, so leveling alts further is unnecessary.
