Better Off Dred
Engage King Dred in Drak'Tharon Keep on Heroic Difficulty and slay 6 Drakkari Gutrippers or Drakkari Scytheclaw during his defeat.
Better Off Dred requires you to kill 6 Drakkari Gutrippers or Drakkari Scytheclaws while King Dred is still alive in Drak'Tharon Keep on Heroic difficulty.
Enter Drak'Tharon Keep
Enter Drak'Tharon Keep on Heroic difficulty and make your way to King Dred's pen. There are 7 total raptors in the fenced area with King Dred, so you can safely kill one before engaging him and still have the 6 required for the achievement.
Pull raptors without killing Dred
Gather all remaining raptors in the pen without killing King Dred. Aggro King Dred by standing close to him, but do not deal damage to him yet — only the closest one or two raptors will pull with him initially.
Kill 6 raptors while Dred lives
With King Dred engaged and alive, kill all 6 raptors. King Dred periodically casts Call Raptor to bring additional raptors into the fight; if he is not calling them fast enough, manually pull the remaining raptors from the back of the pen. It does not matter whether you kill the raptors one at a time or all at once, as long as Dred remains alive throughout.
Kill King Dred
Once 6 Drakkari Gutrippers or Drakkari Scytheclaws have been killed while King Dred was alive and engaged, finish off King Dred to complete the achievement. Be careful not to accidentally kill him before all 6 raptors are dead, as this will require waiting for a dungeon reset to try again.
Tips
If you accidentally kill King Dred before the 6 raptors are dead, you must wait for the dungeon lockout to reset before attempting again.
When soloing, single-target each raptor down and immediately stop attacking to avoid accidentally killing King Dred through auto-attacks while he is targeting you.
