Intense Cold
Defeat Keristrasza in The Nexus on Heroic Difficulty without allowing Intense Cold to reach more than two stacks.
Intense Cold is a stacking debuff applied by Keristrasza in The Nexus on Heroic difficulty that deals 100 damage per second per stack, and the achievement requires defeating her without ever allowing it to reach 3 or more stacks.
Activate Keristrasza's Encounter
Enter The Nexus on Heroic difficulty and click the three orbs surrounding Keristrasza to free her, then immediately begin dealing damage.
Keep Moving Constantly
Intense Cold adds a stack every 2 seconds, so every player must move at least once every 4–5 seconds to drop the debuff and stay below 3 stacks for the entire fight.
Use Short Cast-Time Abilities
All DPS should prioritize spells with a cast time of 2 seconds or less, and healers should replace large heals with Flash Heal-style spells (1.5 seconds or less) or instant-cast abilities to maintain movement.
Break Crystal Chains Immediately
Keristrasza will cast Crystal Chains, rooting players for 10 seconds, which will cause Intense Cold to stack rapidly; use a PvP trinket to break free, or class-specific tools such as Demonic Circle: Teleport for Warlocks (place Demonic Circle: Summon before the fight begins, and keep a Free Action Potion ready since it has a 30-second cooldown) or Intervene via the Warbringer talent for Protection Warriors (also keep a Free Action Potion or a racial ability like Every Man for Himself or Escape Artist ready in case she casts it more frequently than Intervene's cooldown).
