Defeat Daetan Swiftplume.

Quacked Killer is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Daetan Swiftplume, a rare boss added during the 2024 Noblegarden event.

1

Travel to Your Faction's Zone

Alliance players head to Elwynn Forest at 30.24, 91.46, while Horde players travel to Durotar at 44.42, 35.09.

2

Locate the Large Duck Nest

Find the Large Duck Nest at 30.17, 91.05 in Elwynn Forest. The nest is always present but Daetan Swiftplume will not spawn until a large golden egg is dragged to it.

3

Find and Drag the Egg

The large golden egg spawns in the surroundings of the nest and has a respawn timer of approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Alliance players can find it near Stonefield Farm at 32.86, 84.9 — including inside the barn. Horde players can find it around the Southfury Watershed. Drag the egg to the Large Duck Nest to spawn Daetan Swiftplume; multiple players dragging the egg together will move it faster.

4

Defeat Daetan Swiftplume

Once the egg reaches the Large Duck Nest, Daetan Swiftplume spawns at 30.7, 91.39 in Elwynn Forest (Alliance) or at 44.34, 35.37 in Durotar (Horde). Defeat him to earn the Quacked Killer achievement.

5

Loot Your Daily Reward

Characters level 80 and above receive a Loot-Filled Basket once per day, which has approximately a 1% chance to contain the Noble Flying Carpet, along with transmog pieces or a Brightly Colored Egg. Characters below level 80 receive a Loot-Stuffed Basket instead, which does not contain the mount.

Tips

  • The Loot-Filled Basket is awarded once per character per day, so farming on multiple level 80+ characters increases the number of daily attempts at the ~1% Noble Flying Carpet drop.

  • The Loot-Stuffed Basket received by characters below level 80 does not contain the Noble Flying Carpet, so only run this on level 80 or higher characters if the mount is your goal.
