Quick Cap
Grab the flag and capture it in under 75 seconds.
Quick Cap requires you to grab the enemy flag in Warsong Gulch and capture it in under 75 seconds.
Use Speed Boosts Immediately
Pick up both in-tunnel speed boost items as you carry the flag — one in the enemy tunnel after grabbing the flag, and one in your own tunnel just before capping. Combining both speed boosts with a Swiftness Potion is a reliable way to stay under the 75-second limit.
Run the Middle Route
After exiting the enemy tunnel with the flag, run straight up the middle toward your own base rather than hugging the sides. This is the fastest path and, combined with class speed abilities, gives you the best chance of capping in time.
Attempt on First Assault
Try for this achievement on the very first flag grab of the match, as enemy players tend to cluster together heading toward your flag room, leaving the middle route more open for an uninterrupted run.
Avoid Warsong Scramble Brawl
Do not attempt this achievement during the Warsong Scramble brawl variant, as flag captures during that mode do not grant credit for Quick Cap even when completed within the time limit.
Tips
Death Knight Unholy Aura and Hunter Aspect of the Pack can provide speed to nearby allies — avoid taking hits while Aspect of the Pack is active or it will daze you.
Your own team must also prevent the enemy from holding your flag during your run, as the achievement requires your flag to be in its base at the moment you cap.
See the video guides for route demonstrations and class-specific movement examples.
