Clued In

Interact with the Personified Relic at any active Research site to begin. No group or raid is required — this is fully soloable.

Within each Research site, find and click interactable objects to spawn a hostile Information-Stuffed Clue, then kill it. During Research: Centaur of Ohn'ahran Plains, click the Aylaag Spear to spawn a clue. During Research: Dracthyr of Forbidden Reach, interactable objects include the Sun-Bleached Vase at 55.32, 46.53 and the Mysterious Boot at the top of the tower at 56.41, 38.82. During Research: Djaradin of Zaralek Cavern, clickable objects include the Djaradin Scroll and the Forgotten Incense at 40.99, 50.57 — the Forgotten Incense can be reached by mounting a normal flying mount, hovering in mid-air, and clicking it without being dismounted.

Accept the quest A Research Thesis Worth Publishing from Reese at 53.6, 47.6 in Zaralek Cavern. Click the Cracked Torchlight at 53.8, 37.1 to spawn an Information-Stuffed Clue and kill it, then abandon and repeat the quest. Other players clicking the same object will also spawn a clue that you can kill for credit without needing to click it yourself.

Information-Stuffed Clues also spawn during Big Dig events and World Quests such as Research: Niffen of Zaralek Cavern. They appear as large glowing purple otters spawned from one of the tasks during the event. You do not need the specific task active — fly around and tag them for credit. On slower realms, expect around 3–4 clues per event. The Long-Frayed Jar object can be found at 70.29, 41.02, with additional nearby locations at 65.17, 44.60 and 64.69, 48.43.
