Hearthstone Card Collection
Collect all these Hearthstone cards.
The 'Hearthstone Card Collection' achievement is an account-wide achievement worth 20 points, earned by collecting all Hearthstone cards dropped from Whizbang and his minions, who spawn via portals in Valdrakken, Stormwind, and Durotar.
Find the Ominous Portal
Every 30 minutes, an Ominous Portal spawns with a 5-minute countdown in three locations: Durotar at 34, 21; Valdrakken at 53.1, 16.2; and Stormwind Harbor. Head to whichever location is most convenient for your current character — since this is account-wide, both Alliance and Horde characters contribute to the same progress.
Defeat Whizbang and Minions
Once the portal timer expires, Whizbang spawns and summons three iconic minions — Chillwind Yeti or Boulderfist Ogre, Patches, and Dr. Boom. Defeat all of them to earn Hearthstone cards. Cards are not guaranteed per kill, so plan on defeating Whizbang at least 13 times, though some players have needed up to 28 kills to complete the collection.
Use Hearthstone Game Table for Missing Cards
If you are still missing cards after farming the boss, you can obtain remaining
Hearthstone Game Table cards by defeating another player in a friendly game using the Hearthstone Gameboard toy. This method continues to drop cards even after the in-game event ends. If no other player is available, a trial character on a second Battle.net account can be used to play against yourself.
Tips
Do not trade
Stolen Hearthstone Cards to other players — the game may register the card as collected on your account, causing it to stop dropping while still leaving your achievement incomplete.Your achievement progress updates account-wide when you log out and back in, so switching between characters will eventually sync your card collection count.
