Tenured Archivist
Become a Tenured Archivist with the Azerothian Archives in the Dragon Isles.
Tenured Archivist requires reaching Rank 5 (Tenured) with the Azerothian Archives faction in the Dragon Isles, which is a Warband reputation tracked across all your characters.
Understand the reputation ranks
The Azerothian Archives reputation has five ranks: Graduate (0–10,500), Assistant (10,500–21,000), Contract (21,000–32,500), Resident (32,500–42,000), and Tenured (42,000). Reaching Tenured unlocks the achievement.
Farm the Big Dig event
The most efficient way to earn reputation is by participating in the Big Dig event in the Azure Span and completing turn-ins during the event. World Quests and other activities award reputation too, but Big Dig turn-ins provide significantly more rep per time spent.
Use multiple characters
Because this is a Warband reputation, you can complete the Big Dig weekly and all World Quests on multiple characters, with all gains contributing to the same shared reputation total, allowing you to reach Rank 5 much faster.
Tips
Completing the Big Dig weekly reset on multiple characters stacks Warband reputation progress, making it the fastest path to Rank 5.
This reputation does not count toward the 110 Exalted Reputations achievement or the Dragonflight meta-achievement A World Awoken.
