Dreaming of Drakes
Outgrow the use of Whelpling's Dreaming Crests during Dragonflight Season 3.
Dreaming of Drakes is a Dragonflight Season 3 achievement earned by owning a piece of gear at item level 450 or higher in every gear slot, which then allows you to trade Whelpling's Dreaming Crests into Drake's Dreaming Crests at Vaskarn in the Emerald Dream.
Reach 450 In Every Slot
Own a piece of gear at item level 450 or higher for every gear slot — the items do not need to be equipped, you simply need to own one for each slot. If you upgraded a piece and the achievement does not trigger, log out and back in to force it to register.
Trade Crests With Vaskarn
Once the achievement is earned, find Vaskarn at 49.8, 62.8 in the Emerald Dream to trade Whelpling's Dreaming Crests into Drake's Dreaming Crests at a 6-to-1 ratio, or purchase a Gleaming Satchel of Drakes Dreaming Crests for 90 Whelpling's Dreaming Crests. Note that this unlock is not account-wide and applies only to the character that earned the achievement.
Tips
If you are at the seasonal crest cap, you will not be able to trade up until the cap increases at the following weekly reset.
