Complete Lucid Reef Emerald Amble
Run the Lucid Reef Emerald Amble reverse challenge race and earn a gold medal. Surge Forward is your primary tool here.
Complete Shoreline Switchback
Run the Shoreline Switchback reverse challenge race west of Smoldering Copse and earn a gold medal. Hold your vigor in reserve for the large elevation climb rather than spending it early.
Complete Verdant Landing Smoldering Sprint
Run the Verdant Landing Smoldering Sprint reverse challenge race and earn a gold medal. Spam Surge Forward and maintain a clean line through the course.
Complete Viridescent Venture
Run the Viridescent Venture reverse challenge race in the northeast Smoldering Copse area and earn a gold medal. This is the most difficult of the six races due to blind spots and two tunnels that can abruptly halt your momentum, so stay alert through those sections.
Complete Smoldering Redoubt Ysera Invitational
Run the Smoldering Redoubt Ysera Invitational reverse challenge race and earn a gold medal. Surge Forward is reliable here as with most of the other races.
Complete Eye of Ysera Race
Run the Eye of Ysera reverse challenge race and earn a gold medal to complete all six races and unlock the achievement.
Tips
If you have already earned gold in the standard and advanced races across Dragonflight, these reverse challenge races will feel familiar and the roughly 90-minute total completion time is very achievable in a single session.
Reserve the Skyward Ascent ability specifically for Challenge-tier races — for these reverse races, Surge Forward alone is sufficient on all but the elevation-heavy Shoreline Switchback section.
