Emerald Dream Reverse: Gold
Obtain gold in all reverse races in the Emerald Dream.
Emerald Dream Reverse: Gold requires earning a gold medal in all six reverse dragon races located throughout the Emerald Dream zone.
Lower Your Graphics Settings
Set your graphics to the lowest settings before attempting any of the races, particularly the ones set in areas filled with lava and fire.
Complete Canopy Concours Race
Find and complete the Canopy Concours reverse race in the Emerald Dream, spamming Surge Forward through the course to maintain speed.
Complete Lucid Reef Emerald Amble
Head to the Lucid Reef Emerald Amble race, located west of Smoldering Copse, and complete it for gold using Surge Forward as your primary ability.
Complete Shoreline Switchback Race
At Verdant Landing, run the Shoreline Switchback race — hold your vigor in reserve specifically for the large elevation climb section rather than spending it early.
Complete Smoldering Sprint Race
Find the Smoldering Sprint race northeast of Smoldering Copse and complete it for gold using Surge Forward through the course.
Complete Viridescent Venture Race
At Smoldering Redoubt, complete the Viridescent Venture race — this is the most difficult of the six due to blind spots, two tunnels, and obstacles that can abruptly stop your momentum.
Complete Ysera Invitational Race
Head to the Eye of Ysera and complete the Ysera Invitational reverse race for gold to finish the final required race for this achievement.
Tips
If you have already earned gold in the standard and advanced Emerald Dream races, the reverse races follow similar routes and should take roughly 90 minutes total across all six.
Save the Skyward Ascent ability for Challenge races only — for these reverse races, Surge Forward is sufficient and can be used freely.
