Emerald Dream Advanced: Gold
Obtain gold in all advanced races in the Emerald Dream.
Emerald Dream Advanced: Gold requires you to earn a Gold medal in all six Advanced dragon races located across the Emerald Dream zone.
Locate All Six Races
The six Advanced races are found at Canopy Concours, Lucid Reef Emerald Amble (west of Smoldering Copse), Shoreline Switchback (Verdant Landing), Smoldering Sprint (northeast Smoldering Copse), Viridescent Venture (Smoldering Redoubt), and Ysera Invitational (Eye of Ysera). None of the verified waypoints correspond directly to Emerald Dream Advanced race start locations, so navigate to each named area using your in-game map.
Prioritize Surge Forward Ability
For the majority of these races, spamming Surge Forward is the recommended approach — only the Challenge races require the Skyward Ascent trick, so save that technique for those specific situations.
Tackle Viridescent Venture Last
Viridescent Venture at Smoldering Redoubt is the hardest of the six due to blind spots, two tunnels, and obstacles that can stop your momentum entirely — approach it after gaining confidence on the other five races.
Manage Vigor at Shoreline Switchback
At Shoreline Switchback in Verdant Landing, hold your vigor in reserve specifically for the large elevation climb rather than spending it early in the course.
Tips
Low FPS or random freezes put you at a significant disadvantage on these races given how little margin for error exists in the Gold time limits — address performance issues before attempting.
Completing Gold in all six Advanced races also contributes toward the Emerald Dream Racing Completionist: Gold achievement and unlocks the Dream Racer title.
