Arcane Influence is earned by participating in empowering the Arcane Forge in Valdrakken during the Secrets of Azeroth event, which requires carrying, passing, or returning orbs and killing lightning thieves until the forge reaches 150 power.
Locate the Arcane Forge
Travel to Valdrakken and find the Arcane Forge. Check custom groups in the Group Finder to locate an active session on a populated realm if your realm has low activity.
Carry and Deposit Orbs
Pick up an orb and bring it to the Arcane Forge. Stand directly next to the forge so orbs deposit automatically, and avoid going AFK or mounting, as mounting removes the buff.
Pass Orbs and Refresh Buff
Pass orbs to other players or target yourself to pass an orb back to yourself to refresh the buff. Refresh the buff with plenty of time remaining before it expires.
Kill Lightning Thieves
Help kill lightning thieves that appear during the event. Contributing at least one orb delivery and one thief kill is sufficient to qualify for the achievement once the forge reaches 150 power.
Tips
Do not crowd the forge while AFK, as you may have an orb passed to you and miss it, causing the buff to expire.
If the event appears to be over on your realm, switch to a higher population realm via custom groups, as the event has been completed as late as several hours after initial reports of it ending.
