Storm Rider: Silver
Obtain silver in all the Storm Gryphon races.
Storm Rider: Silver requires you to earn a silver medal in all six Storm Gryphon races across the Dragon Isles, unlocked by owning at least the Heroic Edition of The War Within expansion.
Unlock Storm Rider Races
Purchase at least the Heroic Edition of The War Within to unlock the Algarian Stormrider and the Storm Rider challenge. Once mounted on the Algarian Stormrider and flying, Herald Flaps will approach you and offer the quest Lightning Strikes.
Start the Questline
Turn in Lightning Strikes to Lord Andestrasz at the Skytop Observatory in the Waking Shores at 71.29, 24.66, who will then give you The Storm Race Tour, requiring you to complete all six Dragon Isles Storm Gryphon races.
Complete Ruby Lifeshrine Race
Complete the Ruby Lifeshrine Storm Gryphon race in the Waking Shores, starting at 71.29, 24.66, and earn at least a silver medal to count this race toward the achievement.
Complete Tyrhold Trial Race
Complete the Tyrhold Trial Storm Gryphon race in Thaldraszus at 86, 35, earning at least a silver medal to count this race toward the achievement.
Complete Stormsunder Crater Race
Complete the Stormsunder Crater Storm Gryphon race in the Forbidden Reach at 38, 60, earning at least a silver medal to count this race toward the achievement.
Complete Remaining Four Races
Earn at least silver in the remaining races: Vakthros Ascent in the Azure Span, Fen Flythrough in the Ohn'ahran Plains, and Crystal Circuit in the Zaralek Cavern. All six races must be completed at silver rank or better to earn the achievement.
