Generations of Gemstones IV requires you to craft 2000 times using the Jewelcrafting profession, building on the previous ranks at 100, 500, and 1000 crafts.
Craft Reflecting Prisms Repeatedly
The 
Reflecting Prism is one of the cheapest ways to reach 2000 crafts — purchase 
Sorcerous Fire from the Auction House and craft Reflecting Prisms repeatedly, noting that the Prism can sell back for a slight profit margin though the items do not stack and each craft takes a moment to complete.
Use Cheap Stone Statue Crafts
If Reflecting Prisms are not cost-effective on your server, craft stone statues using bulk raw materials from the Auction House: Dense Stone Statue (10 Dense Stone each), Solid Stone Statue (10 Solid Stone each), Rough Stone Statue (8 Rough Stone each), or Porous Stone Statue (5 Porous Stone each).
Craft Budget Gem Cuts
Alternatively, cut inexpensive gems that count toward the achievement, including 
Tiger Opal, 
Roguestone, 
Pandarian Garnet, and 
Sunstone, as well as cuts such as Thorium Setting, Straddling Viridium, Deadly Solstone, Masterful Kubiline, Natant Rubellite, Quick Golden Beryl, Versatile Kyanite, Deadly Deep Amber, and Quick Azsunite.
