Generations of Gemstones III
Craft 1000 times with the Jewelcrafting profession.
Generations of Gemstones III requires you to craft 1000 times using the Jewelcrafting profession.
Craft Reflecting Prisms cheaply
Purchase
Sorcerous Fire from the Auction House and craft
Reflecting Prisms — each craft counts toward the 1000 total, and the prisms can be sold back for a small profit, though they do not stack in your bags and take time to craft individually.
Use cheap stone statue crafts
If Reflecting Prisms are not cost-effective, craft stone statues using readily available materials: Dense Stone Statue (10x Dense Stone), Rough Stone Statue (8x Rough Stone), Solid Stone Statue (10x Solid Stone), or Porous Stone Statue (5x Porous Stone), all of which count toward the 1000 crafts.
Craft cheap gem cuts
Cutting gems is another way to accumulate crafts — options include
Tiger Opal,
Roguestone,
Pandarian Garnet,
Sunstone, Thorium Setting, Straddling Viridium, Deadly Solstone, Masterful Kubiline, Natant Rubellite, Quick Golden Beryl, Versatile Kyanite, Deadly Deep Amber, and Quick Azsunite, so check the Auction House for whichever raw materials are cheapest.
Tips
This is the third rank in the series — Generations of Gemstones I requires 100 crafts and Generations of Gemstones II requires 500, so progress carries over as you advance through each rank toward the 1000 craft threshold.
Material prices fluctuate on the Auction House, so compare the cost-per-craft across stone statues and gem cuts before committing to a bulk purchase.
