Fourth War Mining Techniques
Fully master all of the following Zandalari or Kul'Tiran Mining Techniques.
Fourth War Mining Techniques is a 10-point achievement requiring you to fully master all Zandalari or Kul'Tiran Mining Techniques by ranking up each ore type through quests and node farming in Battle for Azeroth zones.
Rank Up Most Ores
Most ore types — including Monelite, Storm Silver, and Platinum — rank up through quests rather than raw node farming. Mine nodes, complete any quest items that drop, and repeat; most ores will reach rank 3 naturally by the time you hit max Mining skill.
Unlock Nazjatar Access
Osmenite ore ranks require Nazjatar to be unlocked. After first arriving in Newhome, complete the quest chain from Magni to unlock World Quests in Nazjatar before attempting any Osmenite progression.
Learn Osmenite Rank 1
Once World Quests are unlocked in Nazjatar, speak with Rolm to learn rank 1 Osmenite Mining.
Obtain Osmenite Rank 2
To unlock rank 2, loot a 
Brinestone Pickaxe, which has a notably high drop rate and can also drop as a world drop at roughly 1% or less from most trash mobs and ore nodes in Nazjatar.
Farm Osmenite Rank 3
Rank 3 for 
Osmenite Deposit requires killing Avarius three times and looting the associated quest items, then mining approximately 20–30 standard Osmenite deposits for the quest to trigger. The Osmenite Seam rank 3 is significantly more demanding — Osmenite Seams only spawn inside caves in Nazjatar with roughly 10 seams active at once, and it can take upward of 150 seam mines before the rank 3 quest item drops.
Tips
Most ore ranks are awarded through quest completions, not random node drops — prioritize completing any quest items that appear in your inventory before continuing to farm.
Osmenite Seam nodes are found exclusively inside caves in Nazjatar, which limits the farming route but also concentrates all available spawns into a smaller area.
