Elusive Legend of the Dragon Isles
Slay any of the following special elusive beasts hiding on the Dragon Isles as a skinner.
Elusive Legend of the Dragon Isles requires you to slay one of the special elusive rare beasts on the Dragon Isles while playing as a skinner.
Unlock Rare Spawns
Spend at least 40 knowledge points in the relevant skinner specialization. With fewer than 40 points spent, using 
Elusive Creature Bait will only spawn lesser non-rare versions of the creatures, which do not count toward this achievement.
Drop Bait and Summon
Travel to at least one verified spawn location — one is confirmed at 43.6, 86 on the Dragon Isles — and drop Elusive Creature Bait to summon the rare version of the elusive beast.
Land a Hit for Credit
These rares have high HP but die automatically 5 minutes after being summoned. You must land at least one hit on the creature before it dies to receive kill credit and have the achievement progress register. If you are undergeared, wait out of aggro range until around the 4 minute 30 second mark, then enter combat and land a few hits before the 5 minute timer expires.
Reset Bait Cooldown
A good location to burn down your bait cooldown is in the Waking Shores where the Apex Drakes are, which includes named elites such as Mellg the Ancient. Alternatively, during a Superbloom event in a raid group, skinning the Feral Umbraclaw kills during the event reduces your bait cooldown by approximately 36 minutes per mob.
Tips
Grouping with other skinners allows multiple players to share bait locations and split kill responsibility, significantly reducing total time spent farming.
If you still need to farm lesser creatures for the non-rare version of this achievement, hold off on spending your 40th knowledge point so bait drops lesser versions at the same locations.
