Elusive Beasts of the Dragon Isles

You must have at least 20 Skinning knowledge points spent to spawn non-rare elusive mobs. If you also want to spawn rare versions at specific locations, spend up to 40 knowledge points before dropping bait at those spots.

To reset the Elusive Creature Bait timer within 6 minutes, go to Ohn'ahran Plains at 78.67, 27.17 and kill Thunder Lizards in a loop around the small hill. By the time you circle back to your starting point, the Thunder Lizards will have respawned, letting you reset the bait timer efficiently.

Drop Elusive Creature Bait in different sub-zones across every Dragon Isles zone for the best variety of beast spawns. Avoid staying in only one zone or sub-zone, as spreading out across zones yields better results for reaching the 15-kill requirement.

Zaralek Cavern is recommended as a strong starting zone. Spawn the Elusive Magmammoth Bull at 45.14, 39.42 in Elders' Gift, the Elusive Deepflayer at 43.56, 75.14 in Cascades Column, and the Elusive Viper in the Sulfur Wastes at 49.99, 62.51.

In Ohn'ahran Plains, spawn the Elusive Ottuk at 74.66, 47.01 and the Elusive Feral Bakar at 60.58, 24.65 or alternatively at 42.32, 36.46.

In Thaldraszus, head to Eclipse Lake at 53.81, 39.03 where both the Elusive Vorquin and Elusive Prime Salamanther can spawn depending on RNG. In the Azure Span, find the Elusive Vorquin at 43.68, 45.51, the Elusive Elder Slyvern at 69.24, 52.62, and the Elusive Bull at 33.10, 41.29.

On the Waking Shores, spawn the Elusive Salamanther at Wild Coast at 78.02, 29.70. Also use the bait at 52.67, 49.68 and 55.37, 49.78 for additional spawn opportunities. Magmammoth and Phoenix type beasts appear more frequently around the Obsidian Citadel sub-zone.
