Botanist's Log: Dragon Isles requires you to document all herbalism discoveries across the Dragon Isles by learning every variant of each herb found in the region.
Learn All Herb Variants
For each herb in the Dragon Isles, you must learn the Lush, Windswept, Frigid, Decayed, Titan-Touched, Infurious, and Lambent versions. For the Botanist's Log - Overloaded Elements sub-achievement, you must also learn the Windswept, Frigid, Decayed, Titan-Touched, Infurious, and Lambent overloads of each herb.
Find Decayed Herb Variants
If you are struggling to find the Decayed version of any herb, purchase 
Decayed Roused Seedlings and use them near Rich Soil — the herb that spawns will count toward the Decayed variant requirement.
Obtain Infused Pollen
Infused Pollen has approximately a 1% drop chance for characters with low herbalism specialization, but this rate drops significantly at max specialization — down to around 0.2%. If you are at max specialization and cannot find one, use a lower-level alt to pick herbs across the Dragon Isles, as the drop chance is substantially higher for characters who have not advanced far in their herbalism specialization.
Tips
Infused Pollen drop rate is significantly higher (~1%) on characters with low herbalism specialization compared to max-specialization characters (~0.2%), so farming it on a fresh alt is the most efficient approach.
