Learn 400 cooking recipes.
Showoff Chef requires you to learn 400 cooking recipes, and as of patch 10.1.7 there are 426 cooking recipes available in the game, making the achievement fully completable.
Collect cooking recipes
Learn cooking recipes from all available sources across expansions. There are 426 total cooking recipes in the game (or 425 if you exclude Thistle Tea, which is only learnable by rogues), so reaching 400 is achievable without needing every recipe.
Use cooking world quests
Temporary cooking recipes granted by cooking world quests count toward this achievement. If you are a few recipes short of 400, stand next to the crafting crate when a cooking world quest is active to gain those temporary recipes and push your count over the threshold.
Check Legion and BfA rank recipes
Legion and Battle for Azeroth rank 2 and rank 3 recipes have a reported bug where learning a higher rank counts toward the achievement tally, but after relogging the higher-rank entries are removed from the counter. If your count drops after relogging, submit a bug report to the developer team, as a support ticket may not resolve this issue.
Tips
Rank 1 recipes from Legion and BfA appear to be counted reliably, so prioritizing rank 1 collection across all expansions is a stable path to 400.
