Obtain gold in all Challenge races in Zaralek Cavern.

Zaralek Cavern Challenge: Gold requires you to earn a gold medal in all dragonriding challenge races located within Zaralek Cavern.

1

Complete Loamm Roamm Gold

Head to Loamm Roamm at 58.15, 57.59 in Zaralek Cavern and complete both the standard and reverse challenge races with a gold time. Avoid flying low over lava areas — performing Skyward Ascent above lava, swooping to each ring, then ascending again keeps your speed higher through this section.

2

Complete Brimstone Scramble Gold

Head to Brimstone Scramble at 54.5, 23.71 in Zaralek Cavern and complete both the standard and reverse challenge races with a gold time.

3

Complete Sulfur Sprint Gold

Head to Sulfur Sprint at 51.26, 46.67 in Zaralek Cavern and complete both the standard and reverse challenge races with a gold time.

4

Complete Shimmering Slalom Gold

Head to Shimmering Slalom at 58.72, 45.03 in Zaralek Cavern and complete both the standard and reverse challenge races with a gold time.

5

Complete Crystal Circuit Gold

Head to Crystal Circuit at 38.75, 60.62 in Zaralek Cavern and complete both the standard and reverse challenge races with a gold time.

6

Complete Caldera Cruise Gold

Head to Caldera Cruise at 39.05, 49.99 in Zaralek Cavern and complete both the standard and reverse challenge races with a gold time.

Tips

  • When using Skyward Ascent, angle your camera approximately 30 degrees upward and then tilt it back down — this technique can push your speed up to 1400%, significantly reducing your race time.

  • The Dragon Rider addon displays a vigor recharge bar; keeping the indicator in the green zone means you are actively recharging vigor, which helps maintain momentum throughout each race.

  • Completing all gold challenge races in Zaralek Cavern also contributes toward the broader Dragon Isles challenge achievement chain and rewards including the Bronze Racer's Pennant toy and the Isles Ace title.
