Obtain gold in all Challenge races in the Forbidden Reach.

Forbidden Reach Challenge: Gold requires you to earn a gold medal in all Challenge races located in the Forbidden Reach.

1

Locate All Race Starts

Find the six race starting points across the Forbidden Reach: Stormsunder Crater at 76.08, 65.7; Caldera Coaster at 41.31, 14.59; Morqut Ascent at 31.34, 65.68; Aerie Chasm at 63.1, 51.86; Southern Reach Route at 63.64, 84.04; and Forbidden Reach Rush at 49.42, 60.14.

2

Maximize Speed With Skyward Ascent

When using Skyward Ascent, angle your camera approximately 30 degrees upward and then tilt it back down — this technique achieves the maximum speed of 1400% and is key to completing these races with gold times.

3

Use Video Guides For Each Race

Detailed video walkthroughs are available for Aerie Chasm Cruise (at 63.1, 51.86), Aerie Chasm Cruise Reverse, Morqut Ascent (at 31.34, 65.68), and Morqut Ascent Reverse — refer to the video guides linked below for precise routing on each course.

Tips

  • The 1400% speed cap on Skyward Ascent is achieved by angling the camera about 30 degrees upward during the ascent and then tilting it back down — skipping this camera movement results in significantly lower speed.
