Tools of the Trade is an achievement that rewards the Appearance: Brown Tweed Cap by unlocking secret finding toys, most notably the 
Tricked-Out Thinking Cap, which was the Day 2 reward for Secrets of Azeroth and requires gathering specific ingredients from NPCs across the Dragon Isles.
Obtain the Shopping List
Talk to Erugosa at The Roasted Ram in Valdrakken to receive the Thunderspine Shopping Nest List, which outlines the materials needed to craft the Thunderspine Nest.
Gather Required Ingredients
Collect 5x Apexis Asiago from Gorgonzormu in Valdrakken, 5x Thunderspine Tenders from Agyrahl the Butcher in Ohn'ahran Plains, and 5x Latticed Stinkhorn from Sniktak in Loamm in Zaralek Caverns. Alternatively, 5x Thunderspine Nest can be purchased directly from the Auction House to skip this step.
Craft the Thunderspine Nest
Return to Erugosa in Valdrakken with all the gathered materials and ask her to craft the Thunderspine Nest for you.
Complete the Thinking Cap
After obtaining the Thunderspine Nest, bring it to Clinkyclick Shatterboom the engineer to complete the Tricked-Out Thinking Cap and progress toward the Tools of the Trade achievement.
