Find 5 Buried Satchels using rumors from around the community.

Community Rumors is an achievement that rewards the Blue Tweed Cap for finding 5 Buried Satchels hidden across various zones, with locations shared by the player community.

1

Get the Torch of Pyrreth

Obtain the Torch of Pyrreth toy before heading out, as two of the five satchels require it to be equipped or used to spawn the Buried Satchel.

2

Dig in Eastern Plaguelands

Travel to Eastern Plaguelands and find the dirt pile at 55.2, 59.4 — it is located behind a building between a wall and a log.

3

Dive in Felwood

Head to Felwood and look underwater at 42.2, 48.1 to find the buried satchel submerged beneath the surface.

4

Navigate Thousand Needles Cave

In Thousand Needles, swim underwater to the cave entrance at 43.9, 37.4 and follow the cave to its end where the dirt pile is located at 42.7, 30.6.

5

Search Shadowmoon Valley Tree

Fly to Shadowmoon Valley (Draenor) and locate the buried satchel inside the tree at 35.3, 48.9.

6

Coordinate in Netherstorm

In Netherstorm (Outland), three players must each have the Torch of Pyrreth equipped and stand near the smaller crystals to spawn the Loose Dirt Pile at 26.2, 68.5 under the large crystal for one minute — once spawned, other players can loot it without the torch.

Tips

  • The Netherstorm satchel at 26.2, 68.5 requires exactly three players with the Torch of Pyrreth equipped simultaneously — coordinate with others before traveling there.

  • For the fastest route to Eastern Plaguelands, use the Dalaran Hearthstone, then speak to Manapoof and travel to Stratholme, and fly from there to 55.2, 59.4.

  • For Shadowmoon Valley (Draenor), using the Garrison Hearthstone is the fastest way to reach the satchel at 35.3, 48.9.
