Lock and Load
Fire a variety of weapons found in Time Rifts.
Lock and Load requires you to fire six different weapons dropped by Alliance and Horde mobs during a Time Rift event featuring Alliance and Horde Invaders.
Check for Correct Rift Type
Hover over the horn icon on the map while in Thaldraszus to confirm the current Time Rift lists Alliance and Horde Invaders. This achievement cannot progress during any other invader type.
Talk to Soridormi
Participate in the Time Rift by talking to Soridormi to report in. The task you receive does not matter — killing either Alliance or Horde mobs can yield weapon drops.
Find the Weapons
Locate the area where Alliance and Horde mobs are fighting each other. Great Glorious Alliance Musketeer and Blood Horde Bomber mobs drop weapons on death. Sparkling weapons will appear on the ground and can be picked up without being the one who made the kill. Alternatively, look for the Blood Horde Gun Rack and Glorious Alliance Gun Rack on your map, each containing three weapons.
Fire All Six Weapons
Pick up a weapon, use the special ability it grants, then right-click the weapon buff off your character to remove it before picking up the next one. The six weapons are Thunderbolt, Railgun, Crankshot (from Alliance Soldiers) and Bomb Lobber, Shrapnel Spreader, and Flamethrower (from Horde Brutes). You must fire every weapon for it to count toward the achievement.
Tips
The horn icon on the map in Thaldraszus shows upcoming invader types before you travel to the rift, letting you skip rifts that do not have Alliance and Horde Invaders listed.
