Defeat Gal'darah in Gundrak on Heroic Difficulty while under the effects of Eck Residue.

What the Eck? is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Gal'darah in Gundrak on Heroic difficulty while carrying the Eck Residue debuff, which is obtained from the optional boss Eck the Ferocious.

1

Enter Gundrak Heroic

Enter Gundrak on Heroic difficulty and locate the optional boss Eck the Ferocious. At max level you can solo the dungeon without issue.

2

Get Hit by Eck Spit

Engage Eck the Ferocious, then turn your back to him so his frontal cone ability, Eck Spit, hits you. You must be struck by Eck Spit to receive the Eck Residue debuff — it may take several minutes before the ability connects, so remain in position until the debuff appears on your character.

3

Avoid Dying After Debuff

Once Eck Residue is applied, finish killing Eck the Ferocious and proceed to Gal'darah. Eck Residue lasts one hour, but dying will remove it entirely, requiring you to restart the process — also avoid using any abilities that would dispel your debuffs.

4

Defeat Gal'darah

Kill Gal'darah while Eck Residue remains active on your character to complete the achievement.
