Defeat Maexxna in Naxxramas within 20 minutes of Anub'Rekhan's death in 10-player mode.

Arachnophobia (10 player) requires defeating Maexxna in Naxxramas within 20 minutes of Anub'Rekhan's death in 10-player mode.

Kill Anub'Rekhan Normally

Enter Naxxramas and defeat Anub'Rekhan as you normally would. The 20-minute timer starts the moment he dies, so do not stop to loot — loot bodies remain available for up to an hour after the kill.

Double Pull Trash to Faerlina

Move toward Grand Widow Faerlina using double pulls on trash packs and skipping patrols where possible to save time. Do not loot anything along the way.

Defeat Grand Widow Faerlina Quickly

You cannot skip Grand Widow Faerlina because the door to Maexxna's room remains webbed shut until Faerlina is dead. AOE her adds down without using Mind Control to remove her enrage — instead, have your tank absorb the enrage while all DPS burns Faerlina directly. This saves significant time.

Rush to Maexxna

Continue using double pulls on remaining trash and skip any avoidable patrols. Following this approach, you should arrive in Maexxna's room with approximately 5 minutes remaining on the timer.

Defeat Maexxna

Burn Maexxna down before the 20-minute timer expires to earn the Arachnophobia (10 player) achievement. After Maexxna dies, return to loot all bosses and trash you skipped.

Tips

  • Do not loot any bosses or trash until after Maexxna is dead — all loot remains on bodies for up to an hour, so looting mid-run wastes critical time.
