Wards of the Dread Citadel
Empower your Argent Dawn Commission.
Wards of the Dread Citadel is a 10-point achievement earned by empowering your 
Argent Dawn Commission through a quest chain that begins in Old Scholomance and concludes at Light's Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands.
Complete Memory of Scholomance
Wards of the Dread Citadel requires completing the Memory of Scholomance achievement first. Only once Old Scholomance is unlocked can you proceed with the steps below.
Obtain Argent Dawn Commission
Grab your Argent Dawn Commission from your bank, from the Argent Dawn Quartermaster in Chillwind Camp or Bulwark depending on your faction, or pick up the 
Cracked Argent Dawn Commission from the bone pile on the floor in Rattlegore's room inside Old Scholomance. Equip the trinket before proceeding.
Defeat Darkmaster Gandling
Enter Old Scholomance with your Argent Dawn Commission equipped and defeat Darkmaster Gandling. You may need to clear all mobs from the six rooms surrounding his spawn, not just the bosses. He drops 
Darkmaster's Scourgestone, which starts a quest.
Turn In Quest at Light's Hope
Travel to Light's Hope Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands and hand in the quest from Darkmaster's Scourgestone. Find the quest turn-in at 72.54, 74.86. If Archmage Angela Dosantos is not on the chapel steps, check further south where she also appears as a quest giver at 27.82, 11.56.
Access Naxxramas Portal
After completing the achievement, a portal to Naxxramas opens in Eastern Plaguelands at 35.7, 23. Additionally, any character on your account will automatically receive the Empowered Argent Dawn Commission buff upon zoning into Old Scholomance, Stratholme, or Naxxramas without needing the trinket equipped.
Tips
Once Wards of the Dread Citadel is complete, you no longer need the Argent Dawn Commission equipped to receive Scourgestones in Memory of Scholomance, Stratholme, or Naxxramas — the buff applies automatically account-wide.
If completing the achievement on an alt, obtain a fresh Argent Dawn Commission from Light's Hope Chapel before entering Old Scholomance.
