Are You Even Trying?

Before pulling the boss, stand on the southern platform and use /tar to locate and mark each of the six creatures: Ember Mouse, Rock Snail, Magma Slug, Siege Mammoth, Zaqali Boltthrower, and Cave Beetle. All six can be seen from the south balcony — the north balcony shows all except the Rock Snail and Cave Beetle.

The Ember Mouse and Rock Snail are to the far right in the blue area. The Magma Slug is below the first platform in the magma area, the Siege Mammoth is just above it, the Zaqali Boltthrower is further back in the magma area, and the Cave Beetle is also at the back of the magma area.

After pulling the boss and entering Phase 1, the boss will use a frontal attack called Heavy Cudgel, which spawns rocks on the ground. Pick up one of these rocks but do not throw it yet. Wait for a second Heavy Cudgel cast and stand in the frontal cone — this transforms the rock into a Cave Pebble. Each Cave Pebble has 3 charges.

Use your Cave Pebble charges to throw at the marked creatures. Because each pebble has 3 charges, you will need to obtain at least two pebbles across two Heavy Cudgel casts to hit all six creatures. The in-game tracker may not record hits reliably, so watch for the 'Criteria has been met' notification to confirm each successful hit.

Once all six creatures have been successfully hit with a Cave Pebble, continue the fight and defeat the Assault of the Zaqali to complete the achievement.
