A Research Sampler
Gather 50 Curious Ore Samples during the Researchers Under Fire: Titan Lockdown event.
A Research Sampler requires you to gather 50 Curious Ore Samples during Stage 7 of the Researchers Under Fire: Titan Lockdown event.
Disable War Mode
Turn War Mode off before entering the event. More players participate without War Mode active, which increases the likelihood of your group reaching Stage 7 where Curious Ore Samples can be gathered.
Join a Group Finder Group
Use the in-game Group Finder to join or create a group for the event. A larger, coordinated group is necessary to push through the timed stages and reach Stage 7.
Build a Speed Set
Equip the 
Onyx Annulet socketed with 
Obscure Pastel Stone, 
Harmonic Music Stone, and 
Wind Sculpted Stone to gain extra movement speed for collecting ore samples quickly.
Position Early, Ignore Enemies
As Stage 6 ends, position yourself on top of the rock spawn locations. When Stage 7 begins, ignore all enemies and focus entirely on collecting Curious Ore Samples as fast as possible.
Tips
This achievement can only be attempted during the Titan Lockdown version of the Researchers Under Fire event, so track when that version is active.
The required hand-in count was reduced from 100 to 50 in patch 10.1.5, but reaching Stage 7 consistently still requires a full, active group.
