Escar-Go-Go-Go
Defeat Magmorax after feeding him 20 Spicy Lava Snails in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible on Normal difficulty or higher.
Escar-Go-Go-Go requires you to defeat Magmorax after feeding him all 20 Spicy Lava Snails found in the lava surrounding the arena in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible on Normal difficulty or higher.
Pull Magmorax to begin
Once you pull Magmorax, all 20 Spicy Lava Snails will spawn in the lava around the room. Enable critter nameplates in your interface options and use Track Beasts to make the snails easier to spot.
Swim and collect snails
Swim through the lava to collect all 20 Spicy Lava Snails — the lava deals damage, so have healers spread out to keep collectors alive. Pay close attention to the North East corner, where one snail does not display its nameplate unless you are directly on top of it; it briefly shows its nameplate the moment the boss is pulled. If you are struggling to find the last few, use /target Spicy Lava Snail to locate them.
Throw snails at Magmorax
Each time you pick up a snail, an extra action button appears — return to the platform and use it to throw the snail at Magmorax, giving him a stack of Magmosnax, which increases his damage, attack speed, and movement speed. At 20 stacks, the buff becomes Escargorged. Neither debuff has a duration, so you can wait until the boss is lower on health before feeding him the snails if the extra damage is a concern.
Defeat Magmorax to complete
After all 20 snails have been fed to Magmorax, defeat him to earn the achievement. If any player dies while holding a snail, the achievement attempt fails and you must restart the encounter.
Tips
Enable critter nameplates via Interface Options and use Track Beasts to more easily identify remaining snails.
The snail in the North East corner of the lava only shows its nameplate for a split second when the boss is pulled — prioritize grabbing it early so you do not get stuck at 19/20.
