We'll Never See That Again, Surely
Defeat Scalecommander Sarkareth after cultivating a Lump of Flesh and hurling it into the Emptiness Between Stars in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible on Normal difficulty or higher.
We'll Never See That Again, Surely requires you to acquire the Lump of Flesh debuff by soaking in a pool before the Scalecommander Sarkareth encounter, survive Phase 1 with the debuff active, then throw it into the Emptiness Between Stars using the extra action button when near the platform edge.
Clear Trash to Sarkareth
After defeating Echo of Neltharion, drop down into the shallow pool below, then exit and clear all trash leading up to Scalecommander Sarkareth. Do not drop down onto Sarkareth's platform yet.
Soak the Pool
Backtrack to the shallow pool you landed in after Echo of Neltharion and wade in the water for approximately 25 seconds until you accumulate 10 stacks of the DoT, which transforms into the Lump of Flesh debuff. This debuff reduces your maximum health by 30% and lasts 10 minutes — pull Sarkareth with at least 3 minutes remaining on it.
Survive Phase 1
Engage Scalecommander Sarkareth and survive Phase 1 with the Lump of Flesh debuff active. Dying during Phase 1 removes the debuff and prevents the achievement for that individual. Do not use immunity abilities such as Paladin Divine Shield, Mage Ice Block, or Rogue Cloak of Shadows, as these will also remove the debuff.
Throw the Lump
When the fight phases into the Emptiness Between Stars, walk to the edge of the platform — the extra action button only appears when you are near the edge — and press it to hurl the Lump of Flesh into the void. Dying after successfully throwing the lump does not prevent the achievement.
Tips
If the Lump of Flesh debuff drops below 5 minutes before the pull, jump off the platform, release, and re-soak the pool to reset the 10-minute duration.
This is a personal achievement, so each raider must individually obtain and keep the debuff — if one player fails, the rest of the group can still earn it.
