Sniff out five special items while exploring caves alongside a niffen companion.
Sniffen Around requires you to sniff out five special items while exploring caves alongside a niffen companion, with achievement progress tracked by turning in the resulting quests to Niffen in Loamm.
Find Items Before Finishing
Search for special items during your dig before completing it. Finishing the dig first will prevent you from looting the special item for that run.
Turn In Quests in Loamm
Each special item starts a quest that must be handed in to Niffen in Loamm. Achievement progress only increases upon turning in the quest, not when you loot the item inside the dig.
Plan for Weekly Map Limit
You can only obtain 3 maps per week, meaning you will need at least 2 weekly resets to collect all 5 required items. Progress from completing this on an alternate character does not count toward your total.
