Adventurer of Zaralek Cavern

Rares in Zaralek Cavern spawn sequentially rather than all at once, meaning you must defeat each one as it appears before the next will spawn. When a rare becomes active, an emote appears in your chat window announcing its presence.

Each rare announces itself via a unique chat emote: Alcanon says 'Alcanon toils to protect the deep secrets of the cavern,' Aquifon says 'Aquifon stirs the waters in the cascades,' Brullo the Strong says 'The strong are gathering in Glimmerogg to test their mettle,' Colossian says 'Colossian defends its ancient post,' and Dinn announces itself with 'The drone of ancient drums echoes throughout the cavern.' Watch for these to know which rare is currently active and where to go.

Several rares have names in the achievement tracker that differ from their actual in-game names: Brullo the Strong appears as Brulsef the Stronk, Dinn appears as Jrumm, Kapraku appears as Kaprachu, Viridian King appears as Veridian King, Invoq appears as Invohq, Karokta appears as Kairotka, and Magtembo appears as Magmanesha.

If there is no player activity in the area for an extended period, rare spawns will despawn without being defeated. Stay active and engaged in the zone while waiting for rare emotes to appear in your chat.

You only need to defeat 10 of the available rares in Zaralek Cavern to earn the achievement, so you do not need to hunt down every rare — stop once you have 10 kills credited.
