Defeat Vortex, Tremblor, Wildfire, and Flow in a Pet Battle.

Global Swarming requires you to defeat Vortex, Tremblor, Wildfire, and Flow in a Pet Battle on the Forbidden Reach, where each boss appears as a daily rotating Pet Battle world quest on their own small island off the coast of the mainland.

1

Track the daily rotation

One of the four bosses — Vortex, Tremblor, Wildfire, or Flow — is available as a Pet Battle world quest each day on the Forbidden Reach. Progress is not account-wide, so bring the same character each day to accumulate credit toward all four.

2

Understand the boss power system

Each boss arrives at Legendary strength and is surrounded by 7 nearby pets on their island. Defeating one nearby pet reduces the boss to epic strength, and defeating a second reduces it to rare. Defeating a third causes the boss to revert to epic rather than progressing to uncommon, so stop at two side pets if you want the boss at rare strength.

3

Defeat the boss pet

Your pets do not need to be level 25 to earn the achievement — level 1 pets can defeat the bosses without weakening them first by defeating nearby pets. If you want the collectible pet associated with each boss, you must defeat exactly two nearby pets first so the boss is at rare strength before engaging it.

Tips

  • Defeating two side pets before the boss is only required if you want the collectible pet drop; for the achievement alone, you can skip the side pets entirely.
