Open 100 small treasures around the post-storm Forbidden Reach.

Hoarder of the Forbidden Reach requires you to open 100 small treasures scattered across the post-storm Forbidden Reach, excluding the Forbidden Hoard which has its own separate achievement.

1

Buy the Perception Scroll

Purchase the Reliquary Scroll of Perception from Cataloger Daela, which marks small treasures on your minimap for 1 hour. Fly low while the buff is active, as treasures will not appear on your minimap if you fly too high.

2

Farm Bone Piles and Avian Troves

Focus your sweeps on the middle valley areas of the Forbidden Reach, where Bone Piles and Avian Troves spawn frequently. Each full respawn cycle takes roughly 10–15 minutes, and you can expect an average of around 3 treasures per circuit, with some circuits yielding 0 and others up to 5.

3

Try the War Creche for Coffers

The War Creche area contains 4–5 close Obsidian Coffer spawns, but the zone is densely populated with hard-hitting Elite mobs, making it difficult for some classes. Obsidian Coffer farming in a group here averages roughly 10 treasures per hour.

4

Swap Shards via Group Finder

Use the in-game Group Finder to join a different rare hunting group to swap shards, resetting the instance layer and giving you access to a fresh set of treasure spawns. Combining two passes through treasure waypoints with shard-swapping can yield around 40 treasures per hour of Perception buff.

5

Farm During Off-Peak Hours

Population in the Forbidden Reach drops significantly after midnight, leaving more treasures available. Doing short 5–10 minute sweeps and returning outside of peak hours reduces competition and improves how many treasures you find per visit.

Tips

  • The Reliquary Scroll of Perception buff persists while logged out, so you can log back in every 15 minutes to make efficient use of the full hour.

  • Toggle War Mode on and off to access different layers of the Forbidden Reach with fewer competing players.
