Thaldraszus Reverse: Gold
Obtain gold in all reverse races in Thaldraszus.
Thaldraszus Reverse: Gold requires earning a gold medal in every reverse race across Thaldraszus.
Exploit the Normal Course Trick
At any reverse race starting NPC, choose Normal Course first, then dismount before the countdown finishes. When the countdown ends, the NPC becomes interactable again — choose Reverse Course. An additional set of rings appears, but you only need to fly the Normal Course rings. Completing the Normal Course grants credit for the Reverse Course, and the Normal timer is far more forgiving.
Use the Bronze Timepiece Restart
If you need a better time, use the Bronze Timepiece to restart just before the final rings, then fly through them — this results in an extremely low recorded time without resetting your Normal course ring progress.
Complete Academy Ascent
Find the Academy Ascent race start at 60.3, 41.6 in Thaldraszus and earn gold using the Normal course method.
Complete Caverns Criss-Cross
Head to Caverns Criss-Cross at 58, 33.6 in Thaldraszus and complete the race for gold.
Complete Cliffside Circuit
Travel to Cliffside Circuit at 37.6, 48.9 in Thaldraszus and earn your gold medal.
Complete Flowing Forest Flight
Go to Flowing Forest Flight at 57.7, 75 in Thaldraszus and complete the race for gold.
Complete Garden Gallivant
Garden Gallivant at 39.5, 76.1 in Thaldraszus is the most difficult race — use the teleport ability to jump directly to the first ring at the start to save time, as the teleport trick is less effective on the final ring for reverse courses.
Complete Tyrhold Trial
Head to Tyrhold Trial at 57.2, 66.8 in Thaldraszus and earn gold to finish the achievement. When flying upward during any race, Skyward Ascent is generally faster than angling Surge Forward toward the sky.
Tips
When flying upward through rings, Skyward Ascent is faster than using Surge Forward aimed skyward — applies to all races in this achievement.
