Fulfill 1000 Crafting Orders.

Merchant Artisan is earned by fulfilling 1000 Crafting Orders, rewarding the title Merchant Artisan, and the fastest method involves cycling Personal Orders between a main and an alt.

1

Set Up a Crafting Alt

Use a same-server level 60 alt with a crafting profession to send Personal Orders to your main. Budget roughly 70k gold to cover materials, profession equipment, and any leveling costs on your server.

2

Open Crafting Orders UI

Go to Valdrakken and talk to the Crafting Order NPC, then open the Place Order tab with the Personal Order type selected so orders route directly between your two characters.

3

Choose a Cheap Recipe

Order an inexpensive item such as Surveyor's Cloth Bands using the 12-hour (cheapest) order duration, and set a tip of at least 1 copper to satisfy the order requirements.

4

Use a Macro to Bulk Order

Place up to 50 Personal Orders at a time using the in-game macro command C_CraftingOrders.PlaceNewOrder, replacing the skillLineAbilityID with your chosen recipe's ID and replacing NAME with your alt's character name.

5

Find a Recipe's skillLineAbilityID

To find the correct skillLineAbilityID for any recipe, run this in chat: /run for _, id in pairs(C_TradeSkillUI.GetAllRecipeIDs()) do local ri = C_TradeSkillUI.GetRecipeInfo(id); if ri.name == "YOUR ITEM NAME" then print(ri.recipeID, ri.skillLineAbilityID, ri.name); break; end; end — replacing YOUR ITEM NAME with the recipe you want. Alternatively, open the Crafting Order UI in Valdrakken, type /etrace in chat to open the event trace window, filter by "customer", then click your target recipe to capture the skillLineAbilityID from the ProfessionsCustomerOrders.RecipeSelected event.

6

Swap and Fulfill Orders

Once 50 orders are placed, switch to your crafting character, fulfill all pending orders, then switch back and place another batch of 50, repeating until you reach 1000 fulfilled orders.

Tips

  • The 50-order pending cap means you must alternate between placing and fulfilling orders rather than queuing all 1000 at once.

  • The Merchant Artisan title is awarded to the character that earns the achievement, not account-wide — confirm your preferred character completes the fulfillment milestone.
