Loremaster of Kalimdor
Complete the Kalimdor quest achievements listed below.
Loremaster of Kalimdor requires completing the Kalimdor quest achievements listed under this meta-achievement, with the quest totals set at 700 for Alliance and 685 for Horde.
Track Sub-Achievement Progress
This is a meta-achievement requiring completion of the Kalimdor quest achievements listed beneath it. Use low-level quest tracking to find quests you may have missed.
Complete Teldrassil Quests
Pick up the escort quest Mist, and collect quests from the glowing fruits and from The Sleeping Druid inside the Ban'ethil Barrow Den, as these are easy to overlook.
Complete Darkshore Quests
Find all 9 beached creatures along the Darkshore coast — 3 are north of Auberdine and 6 are south of it, each counting individually. Gyromast's Retrieval starts from a gnome captain far north along the beach, and One Shot, One Kill is available in the hills near the Ashenvale border.
Complete Tanaris Quests
Tanaris has two escort quests: Tooga's Quest starts at a turtle in Thistleshrub Valley, and Rescue OOX-17/TN! involves a robotic chicken that crashed in the hills just north of the Gaping Chasm. Note that the pirate treasure quest, the Sunken Temple tablet quests that send you to the Eastern Kingdoms, and quests given by Maron Rivetseeker do NOT count toward this achievement.
Understand What Counts
A quest counts toward Loremaster of Kalimdor only if it is listed in your quest log under a Kalimdor zone. Completing Nice Hat... for Don Carlos in Old Hillsbrad does not count, and eggs found in southern Feralas near the gnome girl and her egg machine in Gadgetzan also do not count.
Find Item-Started Quests
Some quests begin from items with the 'This item begins a quest' flag — check items you pick up in the world, as these can provide hidden quest credit toward the achievement total.
Tips
Darnassus, Exodar, and Caverns of Time quests now count toward the achievement total, so do not skip those zones.
If a quest is listed in your log under an Eastern Kingdoms zone, it will not count toward Loremaster of Kalimdor regardless of where it started.
