Giving Even More Back to Nature
Restock 5000 fish in Tuskarr Fishing holes.
Giving Even More Back to Nature is a 10-point achievement earned by restocking 5,000 fish in Tuskarr Fishing holes through the Catch and Release quests offered by Khuri.
Reach Renown 4
Khuri becomes available once you reach Renown 4 with the Tuskarr. She offers six Catch and Release quests, each requiring 20 fish per turn-in.
Buy Your Fish
Purchase 10,000 of the cheapest fish available —
Scalebelly Mackerel is a common choice — plus at least 20 of a second fish type such as
Thousandbite Piranha,
Aileron Seamoth,
Cerulean Spinefish,
Temporal Dragonhead, or
Islefin Dorado. Having a second fish type keeps the dialog window with Khuri open between turn-ins, so you never have to reopen it manually.
Use a Macro to Turn In
Interact with Khuri once, then repeatedly run this macro to accept and complete the quest without clicking through menus: /run C_GossipInfo.SelectAvailableQuest(70199) /run CompleteQuest() /run GetQuestReward() — replace 70199 with the quest ID matching your chosen fish: Thousandbite Piranha is 70200, Aileron Seamoth is 70201, Cerulean Spinefish is 70202, Temporal Dragonhead is 70203, and Islefin Dorado is 70935. Binding the macro to a mouse wheel button and spamming it completes all turn-ins in roughly 8–9 minutes.
Tips
Each turn-in of 20 fish counts as 20 progress toward the 5,000 fish total, but a known bug has caused some players to receive only 10 progress per 20-fish turn-in — buy 10,000 fish instead of 5,000 to account for this if the bug is still active.
The Catch and Release quests reset weekly and grant full reputation on the first completion each week; subsequent turn-ins still count toward the achievement.
