Defeat the Toxic Swogmother after Purging the Water Intakes in Halls of Infusion on Mythic difficulty.

Toxicity Strike Team is a 10-point Mythic difficulty achievement earned in Halls of Infusion by pressing a hidden underwater button in the Intake Reservoirs to spawn and defeat the Toxic Swogmother.

Set Mythic Difficulty

Enter Halls of Infusion on Mythic difficulty before attempting this achievement.

Defeat the First Boss

Clear through to the first boss and defeat them to open the path forward.

Navigate to Intake Reservoirs

After the first boss, take the path to the left and head upstairs — do not go straight through the newly opened door. Defeat the mobs along the way until you reach the Intake Reservoirs room.

Press the Purge Intakes Button

Jump into the pool that contains the spinning titan machine. Swim down to the bottom of the east side of the pool and press the small red button on the wall labeled 'Purge Intakes.'

Exit the Pool Immediately

Get out of the pool as fast as possible after pressing the button — the Toxic Swogmother spawns at the room entrance and will despawn if you do not engage her quickly enough.

Defeat the Toxic Swogmother

Engage and defeat the Toxic Swogmother to complete the achievement.

Tips

  • The Purge Intakes button can only be pressed once per lockout — if the Toxic Swogmother despawns before you engage her, you will need to wait for the weekly reset to try again.
