Complete the storm achievements below.

Storm Chaser is a meta-achievement worth 10 points that requires completing a set of elemental storm sub-achievements across the Dragon Isles zones.

1

Understand the Storm System

Only one elemental storm is active at a time across the Dragon Isles, cycling on a roughly three-hour timer. There are four zones that can host storms — The Azure Span, The Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, and Thaldraszus — and four possible elements, creating a 1-in-16 chance that any specific zone-and-element combination is active.

2

Track Azure Span Storms

The Azure Span has the highest frequency of storm spawns among all four zones, meaning storms you need in Thaldraszus, Ohn'ahran Plains, or The Waking Shores will be delayed more often by repeated Azure Span spawns.

3

Budget Significant Time

Completing all required storm combinations takes a minimum of 48 hours across at least 16 storm cycles, but random repeats make a full week or more a realistic expectation before every needed zone-and-element pairing appears.

4

Kill 200 Mobs Per Storm

Each storm achievement requires killing 200 enemies within the active storm area; non-elite enemies are faster to kill in volume, and grouping with other players in the area speeds up the kill count.

Tips

  • Each storm lasts approximately three hours, so checking at each new cycle is the most efficient way to track which zone and element are currently active.

  • Thaldraszus and Ohn'ahran Plains each have only one possible storm spawn location, while The Waking Shores has two and The Azure Span has three, which is why Azure Span storms appear most frequently.
