Complete the Thaldraszus storm achievements below.

Chasing Storms in Thaldraszus is a meta-achievement earned by completing all Thaldraszus elemental storm sub-achievements, each requiring 200 kills of storm-infused enemies during active elemental storms in the zone.

1

Check for Active Storms

Open your map while in Thaldraszus to see if an elemental storm (Water, Earth, Fire, or Air) is currently active. You can also check the Wowhead homepage under 'Today in WoW' and select Dragonflight to see which storms are active across the continent. Storms are only active for a few hours before dissipating.

2

Note: Primalist Future Excluded

The Primalist Future does not count as Thaldraszus for these sub-achievements — you must be in the main Thaldraszus zone when killing storm mobs. Thaldraszus has only one spawn point for the storm event, so storms may appear less frequently here than in other zones.

3

Kill Elementally Imbued Mobs

Travel to the storm icon on your map and kill enemies that have the Elementally Imbued debuff applied to them — only these kills count toward progress. All four storm types and all 200 kills per storm type must be completed on a single character.

4

Farm Underground Near Halls of Infusion

For faster kill counts, form a raid group via the Group Finder and gather in one of the underground rings in the center of Thaldraszus, such as around the Halls of Infusion dungeon entrance. Storm-infused mobs hyperspawn in this concentrated area, avoiding the non-infused mobs spread across the outdoor zone. Every player in the raid must individually tag their own mobs for kills to count.

Tips

  • Raid kills count toward the achievement, so using the Group Finder to build a large group at the Halls of Infusion underground area significantly speeds up reaching the 200-kill threshold per storm type.

  • A small number of storm mobs in Thaldraszus do not count toward the achievement kill tally — this is a known limitation affecting only a minority of mobs in the zone.
