Defeat creatures empowered with elemental fire during a storm event in The Azure Span.

Firestorms in The Azure Span requires you to defeat 200 creatures empowered with elemental fire during an active fire storm event in The Azure Span.

1

Check Active Storm Type

Open your map while in The Azure Span and look for the fire storm icon. The storm must be fire — not water, earth, or air — for kills to count toward this achievement. Storms are only active for a few hours before dissipating.

2

Kill Elementally Imbued Enemies

Defeat enemies that have the Elementally Imbued buff during the active fire storm. Head to at 12.61, 35.1 in The Azure Span, where a pool contains around six non-elite Decaying Slimes that die quickly and respawn reliably. There are also small groups and patrols nearby that you can loop through in a short route — by the time you finish the route, the slimes will have respawned.

3

Use the Fighting Packs

Two packs down the hill from at 12.61, 35.1 fight each other. Wait for their health to drop low, then AOE the entire group down at once to speed up your kill count.

Tips

  • This achievement is soloable at level 80. Most areas contain elite mobs, but the slime pool at 12.61, 35.1 offers non-elite targets that are much faster to kill.

  • You can check which storms are currently active across all Dragonflight zones by visiting the Wowhead homepage under Today in Wow, then selecting Dragonflight. Multiple storms can be active simultaneously across the continent.
