Complete the Waking Shore storm achievements below.

Chasing Storms in The Waking Shores is a 10-point meta-achievement earned by completing all elemental storm kill achievements in the Waking Shores zone.

1

Find An Active Storm

Check your map while in the Waking Shores to see which elemental storm is currently active — Water, Earth, Fire, or Air. Storms are only active for a few hours before dissipating, and you can also check the Wowhead homepage under 'Today in Wow' then select Dragonflight to see which storms are currently up across the continent.

2

Kill Elementally Imbued Enemies

Travel to the storm icon on your map and kill enemies that have the Elementally Imbued debuff. Each storm type requires 200 kills, so efficient farming spots matter. Note that storm-related rare spawns are invisible on the map until you are physically in the zone.

3

Farm Phoenixes At Scalecracker Keep

For the Scalecracker Keep storm, head to the elevated rock at 65, 28.8 where a large pack of Lava Phoenix and Lava Hatchling are grouped together. Any bird that drops a feather on death and then rises again to be killed a second time counts as two kills toward the achievement. While the phoenixes respawn, run laps inside Scalecracker Keep at 66.6, 26 where mobs respawn very quickly, then check the optional pack at 67.5, 27.2 outside the keep before returning to the birds.

4

Farm The Obsidian Citadel Storm

For the Obsidian Citadel storm, go downstairs in the hut at 67, 25.7 where there is one elite enemy and about a dozen non-elites. Keep making a circle around the cavern — they spawn very quickly and you can finish one of the storm achievements in roughly 10 minutes. Lava Phoenix and Lava Hatchling are also present in this area and each phoenix resurrection counts as two kills.

Tips

  • Any phoenix-type bird that drops a feather on death and resurrects to be killed again counts as two kills toward the 200-kill storm achievements, making phoenix packs the fastest farming spots available.
