Firestorms in The Waking Shores
Defeat creatures empowered with elemental fire during a storm event in The Waking Shores.
Firestorms in The Waking Shores requires you to defeat 200 creatures empowered with elemental fire during an active fire storm event in The Waking Shores.
Check For Active Fire Storm
Open your map while in The Waking Shores and look for the active fire storm icon. Storms are only active for a few hours before dissipating, and you must kill enemies with the Elementally Imbued effect to earn credit. You can also check the Wowhead homepage under 'Today in Wow' and select Dragonflight to see which storms are currently active across the continent.
Farm Lava Phoenixes At Scalecracker Keep
Head to Scalecracker Keep at 66.6, 26 and look for an elevated rock at 65, 28.8 where a group of Lava Phoenixes are clustered. When a Lava Phoenix is killed it drops a feather and rises again — killing the revived phoenix counts as a second kill toward the achievement, so let it resurrect before finishing it off. There are also a couple of Blazing Dreadsquall on that same rock.
Loop Keep Mobs Between Respawns
The mobs inside Scalecracker Keep at 66.6, 26 respawn very quickly once you clear them, making them ideal to farm solo. While waiting for the phoenix pack to respawn, do laps of the keep interior. There is also an optional pack outside the keep at 67.5, 27.2 that respawns more slowly, useful as a secondary loop between phoenix kills.
Use The Underground Level
Inside Scalecracker Keep at 66.76, 25.7 there is both a ground level and an underground level with non-elite mobs that respawn rapidly. Splitting between both levels covers all available spawns and lets you complete the 200 kills within roughly 10 minutes.
Tips
Any phoenix that drops a feather on death and revives counts as two kills toward the achievement total — always wait for the revive before dealing the final blow.
Mobs near Dragonbane Keep do not reliably count toward this achievement, as many fire mobs in that area lack the required primal storm effect and will not grant credit.
